I’m a designer, developer and technical problem solver with more than 26 years of experience helping businesses communicate clearly, look credible and perform better online.
My career has never stayed neatly inside one discipline—and that overlap has become the point.
I learned communication before I learned code.
I started in traditional graphic design: brochures, packaging, magazine layouts, logos, advertising and the visual systems that help an organization present itself consistently.
That background still shapes everything I build. Even deep inside development, I notice the typography, spacing, hierarchy, tone and the small moments that determine whether an interface feels clear or awkward.
Then I kept following the work underneath.
Web design led to frontend development, WordPress in 2006, ecommerce, email marketing, performance optimization, SEO, accessibility, hosting, Cloudflare and modern React and Next.js development.
I wanted to understand not only how a website looked, but how it worked, why it slowed down, what made it fragile and what the next person would face when they needed to update it.
The real advantage is seeing the whole system.
I bring the creative eye of a designer and the practical mindset of someone who has built, managed, optimized and supported real production websites. That means decisions are shaped by the brand, the user, the code, the infrastructure and the people responsible for the site after launch.
I’m often the person people call when something needs to be designed, fixed, rebuilt, optimized, explained or simply figured out. I like that role.

These are practical standards for how I think, communicate and take care of the systems—and people—connected to a project.
Curiosity
Experience should add context, not close the door on a better way to work. I keep asking what changed, what we may be assuming and whether the first answer is actually the right one. That habit helps me learn quickly and uncover the problem beneath the obvious request.
Reliability
If I take responsibility for something, I care about what happens to it. I communicate early, follow through on details and stay close enough to the work to notice when conditions change. People should not have to wonder whether an important task quietly fell through the cracks.
Clarity
Whether I’m designing, coding or explaining a technical issue, I want the path forward to make sense. I translate complexity into decisions people can understand and maintain, without hiding the tradeoffs. Clear work builds confidence and helps everyone move with less friction.
Usefulness
A polished result is only valuable if it keeps working for the people who inherit it. I favor decisions that make the next update, handoff or problem easier—not just the launch more impressive. The best systems reduce repeated effort and leave people more capable than before.
